This moron has balls to say that there was terrorism against US forces in Iraq.
I won’t even waste my words for this Looser Naji. Remember his eloquence at Gali Galoch.
@Taukeer
In a way you are right, but there is a problem by letting these thugs off the hook. If it was a rare case, then we might be able to “kill” him by our silence. I am afraid this is not possible in Pakistan where such filth is invited here, there and everywhere as an “expert”. We have so many rotten fish and whenever we have a chance to have a go against a big & fat rotten fish like Nach-ni Naji, then we should condemn him and expose him to minimise his “business”. Otherwise he will have even more freedom to continue his DIRTY business.

U.S. authorities have brought the first Guantanamo Bay detainee to the United States, flying him into NewYork to face trial for bombing U.S. embassies, the Justice Department said Tuesday.”

“Justice Department?”. It must be a joke or a typing error. Maybe they meant “Injustice Department”. What the heck they have been doing all these years? Torturing their victims?

Improvement
I am sure you are going to replace arthemia with Sohni Dhurti and Pakistan Zindabad

Pakistan map should be included (with IOK) instead of the leaf and maybe a change of color and design of logo (Sohnidharti).
I support @nota’s suggestion about change of name to “www.sohnidharti.pk”
Just some suggestions
And remember that you are now ADMIN, which means you have certain obligations to take care of unlike the rest of us i.e. you MUST stay neutral! lol…

Suggestion for a featured article:
http://thenews.jang.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=182163
Excerpts:
“The endgame target: a weak nuclear defanged Pakistan
.
.
.
.
While one expects external detractors to play the anti-Pakistan nuke game, is it a mere coincidence that some of our local papers have suddenly become full of locally written articles full of forebodings regarding our nukes? Is it a mere coincidence that one of the leading native critics of our nuclear weapons, a physicist, has simultaneously appeared in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists alongside physicist Albright for some years now? There is a two-pronged strategy that is now becoming obvious in relation to Pakistan’s nukes: externally the drummed-up scare over our command and control – despite the fact that it is the US that has revealed the disarray of its own command and control – and internally using local critics of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons to sow doubts regarding the relevancy of atomic weapons (although if this was the case why the US is pursuing a programme for mini-nukes, etc) and to create a falsehood that such a capability is a liability for Pakistan.
Why is there such renewed attention on our nukes? It would appear that we have moved beyond India in certain critical developments. We already had the uranium enrichment advantage (India’s was a plutonium-based weapon); now we have managed the plutonium-based skills also. Our delivery systems have moved from trial tests to training tests, and second strike capability is on the horizon also.
No wonder our foreign detractors are desperate to gain access at all costs. A new, third prong has been added to their strategy – the floating of trial balloons of offers of civil nuclear assistance kept deliberately vague to see how much access can be gained through non-US sources that may have more credibility in the country. The talk of French nuclear assistance is part of this game – we had begun to reach out to France during the India-US nuclear deal negotiations; now Sarkozy, a close ally of the US, has moved on this front and there is a deliberate ambivalence that is still being maintained. A story was also leaked of a US offer of civil nuclear assistance – but insiders have denied this.
This is a dangerous game that is being played with Pakistan. Of course, if our leaders had the gumption, they would insist that our new impending safeguards agreements with the IAEA should only be on the Indian model. Our leaders should ask France and the US to support us in our move to demand that the IAEA give us the same country-specific safeguards agreement given to India for civilian facilities. Otherwise, all offers on nuclear cooperation are suspect and should be refuted – but that requires a major shift in our rulers’ prevailing subservient mind set.”
66 extremists killed in last 24 hours: ISPR
??
The numbers are always quite high. By now the army must have “killed” most of the extremists estimated to be 4-5.000. Or should we read the numbers like when the Western gang reports from Afghanistan, where the willingly count INNOCENT CIVILIANS as “Taliban” losses?
Last count given by ISPR was 1400 killed so far.

- Link to a recent comment should lead to the last comment in the particular thread.
- Is it possible to make an automatic moderation on certain words?

Congratulations Raza Khan
for launching a discussion forum not less than pak politics…how difficult it was.
This forum will build registration with the time Insha-Allah.
Hopefully your attitude will not build with registration.
My prayers with you
dun worry abt that mate;)
For some time I had sounded caution and warnings of various shades and types towards the policies of the past and present rulers-(since Sept 2001) and I had been repeatedly SHOT down by many.
Of course the latest was the title of Taliban Lover bestowed on my-( along with a few others!) at another virtual place.
Well , I had hoped that the BLIND eyes of everyone by now would have opened with the results that are already here and they would at the very least try to be objective.
I was wrong in hoping for the blind to spontaneously develop the capability to see .
I do plan to continue my “tirades” and as long as the guns leveled at my views are not primed with filthy language- I am willing to take the heat and the artillery fire that I am sure my postings will draw .
Now that I have finally got the technical issues resolved ( Thanks ADMN) I shall share my thoughts-(if they can be called that).
Thank you all.
I do plan to continue my “tirades”
And we will be looking forward to a sound debate based on “tirades” from you
Admin is working…Duplicates are no more an option
Hats off to admin and his team!!!
great job.
May Allah S.W.T make this forum a source for educating people, contributing constructive ideas, and helpful in making Bright Pakistan.
Intense firing in Peshawar near core commander house,Geo reporting.
that after the blast that killed 3 ppl.
All- info on geography in Peshawer.
The Corp commander’s house is located very close to the Pearl Continental Hostel on north circular road , next to the Peshawer Golf Course-( where I played )- The Golf Course has tons of trees.
Across the road from the Corp Commander’s house are the Courts.
North Circular Road is the main HWY for trucks in Peshawer both from Khyber-( UniversityRoad)- Road and Warsak Road. It is very easy for anyone to get to the area and cause trouble
Untill and unless the road is blocked- it is almost impossible to screen the traffic on this road since the numbers are tremendous.
So expect more trouble in this area in the times to come as a reaction to the military action in Fata and Swat.
Be prepared to come in the missed-person list on disclosing confidential information of “karor commandaaarr” house.
For Admin- a suggestion
Need to look on image quality of titles of different programs, especially of Off the Record and Islamabad Tonight.
For Admin- suggestion for title of News section:
“All News for Month of June – Feel free to add & Discuss”
my suggestion for title of news section is
“News and Analysis-June’09″
The single and the only problem is corruption- and that means corruption at each and every level. Intellectual dishonesty is rampant. The political leaders are not only corrupt but they think it is OK to be corrupt and the man in the street thinks it is OK for their leaders to be corrupt. The person who is the top guy in NWFP – is known for his corruption rather than his policing skills .
In this scenario – you are dealing with a group of people-
-( Taliban etc) who are determined to try to get their objectives no matter what or how much destruction they bring about on the society or people. The 64,000 dollar questions is why ?
The answer lies in understanding the intensity of the anger that people have felt since 2001 as a result of the American bombardment and invasion and their doings. For 9 years this anger volcano has been getting ready to erupt. There was great hope and expectation after the elections-
Well you know the rest of the story.
The answer to-day is honest leadership which we do not have.
I agree with shimatoree corruption exists as “OK” which is most dangerous form.
Corruption with guilt and repentance represent Adamic traits and corruption without guilt is satanic trait.
Two more powerful blasts in our country.
Lahore and Nowshehra.
Nawaz Sharif backed and patronized madrassah Jamia Naeemi hit and Dr. Sarfraz Naeemi killed.

The suicide menace continues. When will the leaders wake up and think longer than their own noose….probably never. They don’t have the vision or guts to do that. We need new leadership! Is the people of Pakistan ready to vote for a change? Probably NO
Yesterday, pakistani jet bombared in Hangu and kill Mufti Amin and injured JUI-F district President. Both were prominent figures in Dyobandi school of thought especially Mufti Amin. And today, Mufti Sarfraz Naeemi killed in suicide attack who belonged to Bralvi School of thought.
As usual, media, people, commentators and bloggers are blaming Taliban in killing Mufti Naeemi but no one is thinking that this is the start of Big-Game plan by creating conflict between Dyobandi and Bralvi and in result destablize Pakistan.
Miltary establishment has started dirty game to destablize Pakistan again for sake of Ammreeka and adopting each and every tactic to accomplish US-plan.
We have found another version of Yahya, Zia, Mushi in the form of Kiani.
Can Baitullah Mehsud send his death squad to bomb our cricket trash team?
Please Mehsud I beg you.:(:(:(:(:(:(
@mayoos-Pakistani
Why only the cricket team? It is the same with almost each and every other sector of Pakistan i.e. no planning, no pride of representing Pakistan. Do you remember what Younis Khan said when they lost badly to the fairangis? Younis said “It’s just a fun game”. Obviously he wasn’t even bothered by the loss.
Apart from that they are always quarelling over something/anything. How can it be different since both cricket and the rest of Pakistan is run with no planning but ad-hocism.
http://www.cricinfo.com/pakistan/content/story/408635.html
What will they do now? Maybe make room for the over weight, over age, over rated and over due Shoaib Akhtar. This is their “planning”.
“”AHMADEENAJAD WINNING THE IRANIAN ELECTION.”"
67% is a pretty convincing figure.
The “Change campaigners” aka chamoonas could go home and take a nap.
Salute the Iranian Nation
The Iranian common man and woman stood by one of their own Ahmadeenajad instead of Hindu hugging Musavi. Looks like Musavi flogging his wife for a few Baboon votes did not make a difference.
@Taukeer
LOL on Mausavi flogging his wife…..
Mausavi is behaving like a rabid dog and it is hard for him to accept that he has lost with big margin. Only if Iran had ISI and CIA sort of agencies, Mausavi would have won with great margin.
Good for Iran and good for Muslims, at least Iran makes us proud Muslims.
@Observer
My list is endless but the cricket team is on top of the list at the moment. After my anger on our cricket team is over, I will re-arrange the list and needless to say that Zardari would be on top of the list followed by Rehman Malik chor and dakait and cronies. BTW CJ will soon become part of my list, I am just watching and observing carefully.:)

@Admin
Why has everyone got a cockroach as a symbol….I dun like it.
@Jazoo You are welcome to the forum. The purpose of the forum was to create a medium of intelligent dialog among concerned Pakistanis.
Freedom of speech with due respect to others right to hold a different opinion is what we hope to promote.
We will welcome all those who sincerely share these objectives.
@Jazoo
I suppose nota will answer for himself.
You have pointed towards only a fraction of the TTP patchwork quilt. What about all the other fractions?
Who are they?
Who sponsors them?
How do they get their supplies?
What are their grievances?
How much support do they have among the local population?
Are they feared or are they loved by the locals?
There might be more questions too. The fact of the matter is that nobody from the leadership circles bothers to make an analysis and then a subsequent strategy to deal with these people. What could be the outcome of such a strategy?
- We could split them.
- We could alienate them among the local population.
- We would know what kind of force or carrot and stick could used against which group.
All these steps need a leadership, which do have PAKISTAN SURVIVAL as their prime goal. A leadership which is not afraid of a phone call (Moshe and jarnails) from Amreeka and a leadership which is not used to show fists (Moshe) to it’s own population. Always be kind to your own base i.e. your people and if you want or it is required then be harsh against your enemies!
” Lashkar kill 5 extremists in Upper Dir
Updated at: 1025 PST, Sunday, June 14, 2009
UPPER DIR: The lashkar comprising the local tribesmen Sunday claimed to have cut off the supply line of the extremists. At least five extremists were killed and seven others injured in various skirmishes in these areas.
The national lashkar also arrested three extremists and handed them to the police.

The national lashkar have besieged 300 extremists for seven days now; also, they are advancing to the Shotkas and Ghazigai. A great exodus of panicked local people is being witnessed in these areas.
The camps have been set up at Malakand University Sharangal for these incomers; dozens of families have already arrived here.”

@Observer
Two wrongs doesn’t make a good.
Make no mistake USA,India and Israel are after Nuclear Pakistan.
Those who are working as agents of enemy are locals and foreigner Arabs,Chechnians and Uzbeks all hardcore wahabi Muslims.
Some of these stooges are working knowingly for enemy some happened to be at wrong place at wrong time.
First offense of enemy is to divide Mulsims and they have don it successfully with the help of wahabi element of Islam which is always more zealous in their sectarian beliefs than rest of Islam.
Many of those local Taliban may not have such hard sectarian and barbaric beliefs but for the lack of education when they see throat slitting with slogan of Allaho Akbar, they probably think this is right Islam because many people for whom they have respect are doing it or not reprimanding it.
So the Satan is one sitting at top but can make many satans because of their ignorance and lack of education.
I will conclude with one extreme example of throat slitting of no one common but grandson of Prophet(saw).
When Imam Hussain was slaughtered Karbala was ringing with Allaho Akbar.
So please don’t close your eyes…think…think… who are and were these people and make no mistake all of them were are Kalma reciting muslims….whats the source of their zeal where they can not spare beloved grandson of Prophet.
Hopefully I have invoked a thought provoking process on this forum.
Our present is not detached with our past.
@Jazoo
“Two wrongs doesn’t make a good.”
What wrong am I promoting?
“Make no mistake USA,India and Israel are after Nuclear Pakistan.”
No disagreement between us.
“Those who are working as agents of enemy are locals and foreigner Arabs,Chechnians and Uzbeks all hardcore wahabi Muslims.
Some of these stooges are working knowingly for enemy some happened to be at wrong place at wrong time.”
I don’t think it is as simple as that. You need to identify them further. Look at my points again. Nobody is saying that we should be mere spectators to different developments!
“First offense of enemy is to divide Mulsims and they have don it successfully with the help of wahabi element of Islam which is always more zealous in their sectarian beliefs than rest of Islam.”
I think you are on tangent here. What is your proof that wahabis are promoting such atrocities? I urge you to bury this issue. It is for no good.
“Many of those local Taliban may not have such hard sectarian and barbaric beliefs but for the lack of education when they see throat slitting with slogan of Allaho Akbar, they probably think this is right Islam because many people for whom they have respect are doing it or not reprimanding it.”
Nobody is defending their heinous crimes! They need to be opposed, but NOT the headless way as now. We need to be smarter in order to eliminate the spread of this disease. If we bomb indiscriminately and can countless IDP’s then we are certainly way off track. That will NOT help our cause. We need to make some indigenous planning!
Operation Rah-e-raast Ya Operation “Barah-e-rast:
good read
To the intelligent and thoughtful writers on this blog-
Please try to see the situation in a different manner if possible. And here it is-
The lashing and whipping and throat sutting have been brought to the notice of the public and everyone is outraged and perhaps rightly so -BUT just think about it for a moment-
This is a WAR and in a war the punishment for Spying is death-even the civilized pompous priests of the West do that-( Julius and Ethel Rosenberg). This unusual punishment is given to reduce the possibility of spying so that anyone who might be thinking of spying against the organization would think twice . But I want to just say one simple thing and that is as follows-
In solving a murder case- the first thing you think about is WHO will benefit from it ?
Now try to look at the heinous crime from this angle .
@Shimatoree
“In solving a murder case- the first thing you think about is WHO will benefit from it ?
Now try to look at the heinous crime from this angle.”
Right, sir. This is exactly what many of has been in search for i.e. an analysis of the whole mess. We have dozens of groups with most probably their own agenda for each group. Analyse it and implement different solutions for different problems. To speak in your terms. We might need surgery at one place and medicine at another and rest at a third place and a combination of the first mentioned solutions in other places, but first we need to analyse and then plan the course. Anything else will most probably end in disaster – which has started already
@Observer
I never say you are promoting any wrong.
What I was implying
One wrong is enemy subscribing locals to fulfill their agenda
Second wrong is reactionary suicide attacks on Masajid and of fellow Muslims and criminal justification of second wrong by religious political parties.
One wrong in action and other wrong in reaction does not make it good.
What proof I have of Wahabi sectarian and barbaric activities…I don’t have to prove whats more visible than daylite.
@Shimatoree wrote
“This is a WAR and in a war the punishment for Spying is death-even the civilized pompous priests of the West do that-( Julius and Ethel Rosenberg).”
Its not clear who are the waring parties here.
One probably he means Taliban second party is not known.
Probably second party is Pak Army.
Now I don’t know who was spying for Pak Army but we have many cases where captured Army jawans were segregated shia from sunni and shia jawans were beheaded…Now shimatoree should tell us what was their crime, spying or being shia.
And what authority they have or shimatoree has to call anyone spy who is working for Pakistan Army or Govt. of Pakistan in Islamic republic of Pakistan.
Infact those so called spy are not spy but mujahid and those who are beheading them are traitors with respect to any criteria religious or secular.
@Jazoo
I agree though there are more nuances than catches the eye at first glance. Pakistani leadership allowed the events to create a big mess.
Reg. the religious issues. I don’t indulge myself too much in that kind of accusations. I think we have more than sufficient splits in Islam. Personally I am just a Muslim with NO affiliation to ANY group/school of thought. I think this must be the right sunnah to declare one self as just a MUSLIM!!!!!
@Observer
Again I would say two wrongs doesn’t make a good and this time again I am not accusing you.
Corrupt leadership which is mainly responsible for this mess is not spared the wrath of these forums if you look at pak politics, liberal or religious alike were against Musharaf.
Todays one bad is Zardari but him being bad does not means not to point your finger toward another bad i.e. Taliban.
@Jazoo
“Todays one bad is Zardari but him being bad does not means not to point your finger toward another bad i.e. Taliban.”
We have no disagreement on this. I (and many others) had a difference with the liberal facsists on PKP (some of them with admin rights) about the method to adopt to oppose/eliminate/fight the menace.
@Jazoo Taliban phenomenon is not a religious phenomenon. It is aimed at destabalising Pakistan. Most Pakistanis recognize this. But our difference is with the methodology of dealing with the problem.
We have to deal with a problem by trying to cure it and not by creating a bigger problem then we already face.
Pakistan has suffered the consequences of use of force in East Pakistan. We should learn from our experience. That is all we were arguing about on PKP. But the fascist forces (with admin rights!!!) could not tolerate this difference of opinion.
All we want is putting Pakistan’s interest before Liberal agenda and tolerance of a sincere difference of opinion! Is that too much to ask?
Netanyaho Speech welcomed by Washington!
Ahmadeenajad Election rejected by Washington!!!
A F***ing eye opener for Neocon NeoFascist Baboons!!! But then their masters gouged out their eyes and bits of their brains!
Al-Jazeera Peddling anti Ahmadeenajad lies.
Part of the propaganda campaign to discredit and vilify a defiant Ahmadeenajad.
@ Taukeer – I am a bit envious of the picture of Che on your posts!
@ Jazoo-
As someone who has seen first hand what war is and what war does -let me try to answer some of the questions you have raised.
1.The warring parties from THEIR stand point is everyone who is with the Western Forces in Afghanistan and since the Pakistan Govt and Pakistan Army are allies in this war against terror- now you know the answer.
2. What authority do they have to do what they are doing ?
Authority comes from POWER and POWER you TAKE- it is never given to you by anyone . Since they have the POWER- so they do what they do.
3. The reports that you have quoted about Shia Jawans being killed- please provide source. My family members are in the atual fact of fighting the Talibs in Swat and Bajaur and as of now I do not know about this selective extermination of the Shias. There is a lot of things being said to magnify the Taliban and to make them appear fearsome etc.
4. In war – “if you are fighting against me- does not matter whose army and of what republic you are from- my job is to kill my enemy ”
I think it would be better if one looks at the War in Swat for what it is – WAR and not hope or wish for it to be played by the rules of Cricket . All comment and analysis based on any other imagined scenario-( wishful thinking) is just that.
“Imran Khan warns of Pakistan’s ‘suicide’
Pakistan’s military offensive against the Taliban will backfire and fuel more extremism and bomb attacks, the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan warned last week.
“I have never been so depressed in my life,” he said. “Pakistan is on a suicidal course.”
And further down the article:
“The 56-year-old leader of Pakistan’s Movement for Justice party has been branded pro-Taliban for speaking out against the military operation, which has driven 2.5m people from their homes.”
“Thank you” BABOONS. Lackeys of the West. You jumped in the Western railway wagon without thinking about the consequences.
“I’m not pro-Taliban,” he said. “But my point is: shouldn’t we have looked at other options? How do you justify using heavy artillery, helicopter gunships and F-16 fighter-jets in civilian areas? Who in the world does this? Meanwhile all the top Taliban leadership have escaped. It’s so inhuman, what they have done; it will backfire.” ”
You are stuck with it, IK. No matter what these liberal facists=ghulam will continue calling you Taliban Khan. Shame on them for not putting forward arguments. How can they and then better for them with htis name calling.
“Khan insisted that Pakistan would never contain extremism as long as American troops remained across the border in Afghanistan. “Hatred of America is much more than of the Taliban,” he said.”
Very true!
““How do we look after these refugees?” Khan asked. “Already you see the anger. This is a very sorry chapter in Pakistan’s history.” ”
Nobody at the helm of affairs bothered to make arrangements for these poor IDP’s
Shame on us. We are maybe a FAILED nation already

Even the comments on the page of Timesonline are not as venomous against Ik as on PkP. Look at what is promoted on PKP:

What a great site PKP has become….for MQM.
Now thats wat you call propaganda.
Taliban dupe boy into planting bomb: report
LONDON: On his face is an angelic smile, in his pocket a blood-stained 50-rupee note. Ishaq Khan, a 12-year-old schoolboy, was given the money ñ equivalent to just 40p ñ to carry a bag to a spot in a busy bazaar in Kohat.
As he walked away, the bag exploded, throwing him to the ground with a shattered foot and leaving shoppers dead and wounded all around him.
In a macabre new tactic, Taliban militants have begun paying children to plant lethal bombs in Pakistani cities. Ishaq, who comes from a poor family that barely survives on the money his father earns from house-painting jobs, had been working at the Orakzai bus stop of the cityís main Terah Bazaar, earning a few rupees a day by helping people to load lorries and buses.
Two weeks ago a man, with a moustache but no beard, approached him and offered him the note to leave a blue plastic bag in a crowded area between several shops. “I was excited to get 50 rupees,” said Ishaq. “That’s more than I earn in the whole week.”
He picked up the bag and pocketed the money, enjoying the feel of it as he thought about whether he might spend it on a rare treat such as an ice-cold Coca-Cola, or take it home to his mother. The bag was of plastic sacking of the type used to carry sugar, and was not heavy.
“I put it down, turned back and had not walked 20 steps when there was a big blast and I was thrown,” he said. “I do not remember what happened then”.
When he woke up he was in Kohat hospital with the other victims of the blast. The 50-rupee note was still in his pocket, covered in blood.
When he learnt that three people had been killed and 23 injured he was horrified. “I never imagined it was a bomb,” he said, his eyes filling with tears. “I move bags for people all day.”

“Two weeks ago a man, with a moustache but no beard, approached him and offered him the note to leave a blue plastic bag in a crowded area between several shops.”
Moustache only??
It’s not exactly a description of a Taliban. Aren’t Taliban those who close barbers shops?
“Imam” Kayani says:

Who do you want to bring “on track”?
Until further you have “helped” poor IDP’s out of their homes. Shame on you and your friends the liberal facists!

“In the ongoing war, it is difficult to distinguish friends and enemies.”
Which means that we should prepare ourselves for “collateral damage”. What ios the difference between the excuses adopted by our liberal facists and the excuses used by their masters in Afghanistan/Iraq/Palestine?

Stop embarrassing Pakistan – Younis
“Speaking in the aftermath of the 39-run victory over Ireland at The Oval that sealed Pakistan’s progression to the semi-finals, Younis defended his star bowler, Umar Gul, who followed up his figures of 5 for 6 at Lord’s with another superb spell of 2 for 19, and hit back at the comments made by New Zealand’s captain, Daniel Vettori, who claimed after the Lord’s defeat that he had never seen any bowler achieve reverse-swing as early as the 12th over of an international fixture. ”
Younis Khan, this is a minor issue. Pakistan is being humiliated day in and day out. But still shame on Daniel “The bad looser” Vettori. I did not think a New Zealander would use the same dirty tricks as their Australian neighbours.
Well done Umar Gul. You are one of very few bright spots. Keep on working hard to achieve new goals!
@shimatoree Thanks for the Che complement! I had to tweek it a little to get the Flag colours.

I have the following post pending in Pak Politics for moderation probably won’t be posted at all.
I am reposting here its upto admin to remove it if they don’t like but at least get some idea theres nothing wrong with the post except some hints at sick monopolizing of mbokhari and group without naming their names.
Ha Ha Ghost found some liberal brotherhood with Amreeki sponsored mischief in Iran.
Under new Mideast Roadmap Iran is not acceptable as Global power of the region.
With the speedy technological achievement Iran was the natural target to face the Amreeki wrath.
This is the height of mischief Musavi announced victory even before the counting begins and with %age of victory.
Ghost is a fair minded poster but as we say in Pakistan friendship is more important than what you think, perhaps he is lining up with so called liberals to pay back their friendship as we saw nota and shirkuh and many other work as a brigade on opposite side.
Unfortunately these liberal have work out everything in detail of this and that

Zardari meets with Mun Mohan Singh. Wow Zardari showing how obedient he is to his master lol
Indian PM warns Pakistan in first post-Mumbai meetng
YEKATERINBURG, Russia (AFP) – Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari for the first time since the Mumbai attacks, bluntly declaring that Pakistani soil must not be used for terrorism.
“My mandate is to tell you that Pakistani territory should not be used for terrorism against India,” the Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted Singh as telling Zardari.

“Zardari meets with Mun Mohan Singh. Wow Zardari showing how obedient he is to his master lol”
Anyone with force and a little money bag can become Zardari’s master. Shouldn’t we call Mr. Singh “The Little Master” after all the big master is in US.
I think the picture below deserves some space on Sohnidharti:
You are a great “scholar” Monsieur Zardari
Perhaps this is another reason Reformists don’t like Islamic Iran
Islamic Science Makes a Comeback
For many, Iran conjures up images of angry ayatollahs and scientist bent on acquiring nuclear weapons. But physics professor and author Jim Khalili sees another side to Iran, one where Islamic teachings and science have propelled the country to the forefront of stem cell research. Islamic science – often seen at odds with Islam despite the religion’s history of medieval innovation – is making a come-back.
By Jim Al-Khalili
Many areas of scientific research in the West seem these days to be mine fields of ethical and moral dilemmas. When such research is carried out in countries regarded as enemies of the West, such as Iran, the alarm bells not surprisingly ring even more loudly. But while the U.S., Israel and others agonize over what to do about Iran’s fast-developing nuclear program, another area of research altogether seems to be quite unexpectedly flourishing there.
On a recent visit to Iran with a BBC film crew while making a television documentary series, I was allowed unrestricted access to a thoroughly modern research laboratory. The Royan Institute in Tehran is a place that is carrying out, by any sensible measure, world-class work in genetics, infertility treatment, stem cell research and animal cloning, all in an atmosphere of openness that was quite dramatically at odds with my expectations.
What struck me most was the way the state authorities overseeing the research – for it is certainly closely watched – seem to have dealt with the ethical minefields of parts of the work, in stark contrast to the vociferous opposition to it from some quarters in the West.
While at the Royan, I spoke with one of the imams who sits on their ethics committee. He explained that every research project proposed must be justified to and vetted by his committee to ensure that it does not conflict with Islamic teaching. Thus, while issues such as abortion are still restricted in Iran (it is allowed only when the mother’s life is in danger), research on human embryos is encouraged.
I was certainly taken aback when he quite rightly pointed out that the only thing produced in embryonic stem cell research is a clump of cells, which is far from what could be defined as a human fetus.
The fundamental question here, as it is in the rest of the world, is: What defines life? Many, but by no means all, Christians believe that human life begins at the moment of fertilization — a notion not shared in Islam or Judaism. The Christian argument is based on the idea that the fertilized egg contains everything that is needed to replicate and grow and that this is sufficient. But is the “potential” of becoming a human being really enough?
This is more than just a metaphysical issue. From a purely scientific perspective, an embryo just a few days old is no more than a bundle of homogeneous cells in the same membrane that do not function in a coordinated way to regulate and preserve a single life. So while each individual cell is “alive”, it only becomes part of a human organism when there is substantial cell differentiation and coordination, which occurs around two weeks after fertilization. Therefore a more sensible definition of the beginning of life is that it takes place gradually during the fetus’s development, long after the embryonic stem cells stage where there is only a “potential” for life.
According to Islamic teaching, I discovered, the fetus becomes a full human being only when it is “ensouled”. This takes place anywhere between 40 and 120 days after conception, depending on various interpretations of the Qur’an. So the research at Royan is not seen as playing God, since it takes place long before the soul has entered the body of the unborn fetus.
There is much that the West finds unpalatable about life under Islamic rule in Iran. But when it comes to the controversial subject of genetics, Iranian scientists don’t let religious doctrine hold them back.
Jim Al-Khalili is a professor of physics, author and broadcaster in the UK where he teaches and carries out his research in theoretical nuclear physics. He is currently working on a new series for the BBC called Science and Islam and is writing a book on medieval Arabic science.

The Impact of the Islamic Revolution
By Dr. Kalim Siddiqui
The Islamic Revolution in Iran surprised a lot of people. In September 1978, just four months before the Shah fled Iran, US president Jimmy Carter described his regime as an island of stability in a sea of turbulence . Dr Kalim had visited Iran in early 1978 and knew a number of active Iranian students in London. But he too saw little sign of a revolutionary movement with the potential to establish Islamic rule.
He later said that he realised that something very special was happening in Iran when he first saw Imam Khomeini on television. He realised immediately that this was no sham revolutionary educated in London, Harvard or the Sorbonne; this was a leader of Islam whose roots lay in the political traditions of Islam itself.
At the same time, he was shocked by the negative reaction to the revolution among many of the Muslims he knew on the Saudi ‘conference circuit’. These were men who had talked a good fight during the 1970s but then tried to ignore the Islamic Revolution in Iran for fear of losing their Saudi patronage.
Dr Kalim, by contrast, threw himself into both studying and serving the new Islamic state. He recognised that this was possibly the breakthrough in Islamic history that he had expected to come decades in the future. But he also realised, as he said later, that the breakthrough could prove transitory, and he was determined to capture as much of its light as possible in case it did not last.
At the same time, he was aware that academic study of the new phenomenon was not sufficient; as a Muslim, it was his duty to help the embryonic Islamic state to survive the massive pressures being put on it by its enemies.
As a result, Dr Kalim visited Iran several times to see and understand the Revolution. The Muslim Institute also arranged a lecture course in London by Hamid Algar, translator of Imam Khomeini’s writings into English. Dr Kalim and other Institute members also toured Britain, the US and other countries, addressing meetings to explain the true significance of events in Iran to excited but often uninformed Muslim audiences.
Dr Kalim’s developing understanding of the Islamic Revolution can be traced through his writings of this period. These include The State of the Muslim World Today (1979) and The Islamic Revolution: Achievements, Obstacles and Goals (1980).
At the same time, Dr Kalim’s insight into the broader historical situation was helping Iranians to understand the true depth of their own revolution. His insight into the nature of the revolution and the problems it faced can be gauged by his reaction to Imam Khomeini’s appointment of Abol Hasan Bani-Sadr as president. Dr Kalim’s comment: “The Imam will have to dismiss this man!”
Dr Kalim was to remain a close friend and supporter of the Islamic State of Iran for the rest of his life. He regarded this as the only possible relationship any Muslim could have with a genuine Islamic state. The relationship was often rocky; many Iranians did not like his regular criticisms of government policy, or his understanding of the Revolution as Islamic and relevant to all Muslims. Many Iranians would have preferred the revolution to have been purely Irani and Shi’a. But there were also many Iranians who held Dr Kalim in great esteem and affection, as was witnessed by the reaction to news of his death.
Dr Kalim always maintained that the limitations of Iranian functionaries and bureaucrats could be overcome provided the leadership remained committed to the global Islamic movement. He never met Imam Khomeini, but developed a personal relationship with Imam Sayyid Ali Khamanei, based on the Imam’s admiration for Dr Kalim’s last major paper, Processes of error, deviation, correction and convergence in Muslim political thought (1989). Dr Kalim considered this relationship the greatest possible honour in the last years of his life.

Recently Gul Hasan at pak politics posted a news article from Dawn.
That Shariat bench declared alcohol is not haram so the hud of 80 lashes is not implementable.
Shariat bench has difficulty in understand a Quranic verse which says stay away from alcohol, which they thought is not equal to haram.
Probably this add is in series of these recent findings of shariat bench.
In Islamic Pakistan this ought to be a social disease and there should be no add for rehabilitation….simply 80 lashes.
Its same as highlighting the bad effects of eating pork and advertising their remedies.
@ Jazoo
actually agree with u on shariat court decision being wrong, alcohol is hud in Islam, but Alcoholism is considered a disease and thus is not punishable under Islamic law. Hadrath Umar use to give the punishment of lashes and even he wouldn’t punish again the same person if found intoxicated as he realized they are alcoholic.
@afzaalkhan
Good point
But I was not talking about hud on rehabilitation doctors or centers or diseased patients.
In post Musharaf Pakistan we always are skeptical the filth of Musharf is carried on and presented as a normal course of life.
WTF? Blackwater being used in Pakistan, after the atrocities committed by them in Iraq and Afghanistan, its great to see government allowing war criminals and CIA mercenaries to work in Pakistan. Any doubt this government doing anything to damage pak should now be completly dispelled. With Blackwater working with that much freedom in Pak, one has to ask how so called Talibaan doing so much terrorist activities in Pak.

“Is IK trying to be like Nawaz/PML-N??”
I had hoped that IK could stand the distance i.e. stand tall on his stand about solutions.
I cannot and will not use the same language as you to condemn him. Maybe he succumbed to the maghreb-zadeh chorus. After all they have been hitting him hard for quite a while with labels like “Taliban Khan” etc. Anyways, if he stated the above it is regretable.
Too bad that our people have lost the ability to analyse, BUT is it so or is it plain and simple dishonesty? In the case of the yelling contest against IK i think it is simple dihonesty. I had hoped IK could could stand firm 1-2 month more and then everybody except hardcore liberal facists would understand that he was right.
@taukeer
Duun see anything wrong with what he said, we can’t afford to have even a sembalance or a hint that Pak Army lost in Swat or at any part where they get engaged.
@nota
You are fully entitled to air your frustrations. I know you are man enough to both critisize and also praise. My reference was sepecifically for your “desi” phrase, which for me seemed like a kind of condemnation.
Apart from that it is perfectly fine for me that you critisize even a sincere person like IK. I would do it myself if I believe he is off track. This is VERY IMPORTANT that our political/religious leaders – big as small – MUST NOT feel that the are gods. If they commit blunders – especially deliberately or by neglect – they must feel the heat.
IK is not assertive, I don’t find him focused…I love what he says about America’s interference in Pakistan but he has to follow a particular track only criticizing America serves no purpose.IK has disappointed at least me (if that matters)he needs a lot of political maturity. I strongly believe that he should be given a chance to serve the nation.
What if Twitter is leading us all astray in Iran?
Here are a few of the things that we’ve “learned” the last few days about the Iranian elections and their aftermath:
— 3 million people protested Monday in Tehran
— the losing candidate, Mir Hossein Mousavi, was put under house arrest
— the president of the election monitoring committee declared the election invalid on Saturday
These are just a handful of data points that have been shooting around the Internet, via Twitter or the opposition-friendly blogs. And all have been instrumental in building a public opinion case against the Iranian government for undercounting the support for Mousavi.
The problem is, none of them appear any longer to be true. The crowd was in the hundreds of thousands, most newspapers reported. Mousavi’s own wife said he wasn’t under house arrest Sunday, and Monday he appeared in person at the protest. And if the president of the election monitoring commission has gone over to the opposition, no serious reporter has reported it.
Also courtesy of the blogosphere, we have two sets of “real” vote counts “leaked” from the Interior Ministry; one set had Ahmedinejad getting 28 percent, and another gave him 13 percent. These are just a few examples I was able to come up with quickly.
Andrew Sullivan, who has been leading the charge in the U.S. to try to get us all to wear green and support the opposition, says that “[t]his event has been Twitter’s finest hour.” One of his commenters tells him: “You are gathering information from a myriad of sources and putting it out there for a cohesive message. CNN, NY Times, et al are merely running an article about ‘thousands’ of protesters. Its a canned message from just a few stale sources.”
But instead, it looks like the Internet is the medium for a lot of unfounded rumors by a lot of (understandably) passionate people in Iran. This is a chaotic situation, and rumors flourish in that environment. I’ve been there: I remember spending a morning in Iraq, during the war, trying to track down confirmation that Tariq Aziz was killed in a hail of bullets trying to run a roadblock while attempting to flee into Kurdistan. Everyone was convinced it had happened. Later in the day he gave a press conference to demonstrate that he was still alive. In Serbia in 2001, as word began to spread that Slobodan Milosevic was going to be arrested soon, a crowd gathered in his backyard, and rumors spread several times that Milosevic had killed himself, or that it was the CIA who was going to make the arrest.
But in the pre-Twitter age, those sorts of rumors petered out quickly if they weren’t true. If they were true, then journalists found out about them and reported them as fact. Now, the latter is still happening, which is why the journalists in Tehran now are writing pieces with considerably more nuance than what you see on blogs. But the former isn’t true any more – rumors can have a longer lifespan on a network of sympathetic blogs, Facebook postings and Twitter feeds.
At this point, we don’t know if there was election fraud or not. The AP has a story describing the current state of play on the fraud allegations (the speed of the announcement is now the main point of debate), and although the evidence for fraud is all in the beginning of the story and the evidence against is at the end, it’s a pretty balanced look that probably isn’t going to convince anyone to change their mind. So no need to rehash the arguments here.
None of this is to excuse the behavior of the government after the election results came out. Or to diminish the bravery and courage of the people who are out in the streets in Tehran getting beaten. But what if it’s based on a lie? A Twitter-fueled, mass delusion of a lie? That the one third of people who voted for Mousavi convinced themselves, via a social media echo chamber that selectively picked rumors and amplified them until they appeared true, that they in fact represented two thirds of the country? And then tried to bring down the government based on that delusion? Maybe it’s not the case this time. But doesn’t this entire episode seem to show how such a thing could happen? And then what?

Welcome PM Nawaz Sharif?
SC reserves verdict in plane conspiracy case
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan reserved the verdict in plane hijacking conspiracy case on Thursday.
Prosecutor-General Sindh Shahadat Awan told the court Nawaz Sharif was rightly convicted by the trial court; thus, his appeal was liable to be dismissed.
He contended the petition was time-barred, as according to the SC rules, an appeal had to be filed before a proper forum after the announcement of the judgment within a month.
The prosecutor-general, however, said the petition could be condoned if the court was satisfied with the cause of delay in filing the appeal. The apex court has reserved the decision at the end of prosecutor general argument.
The Sindh government on Wednesday requested the Supreme Court to dismiss the appeal of Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif against his conviction in the case.
@afzallkhan
SC has to decide on two things
Appeal is admissible or not due to time frame
SC is already hearing it so imo judgment is yeah.
Other is merit of the case
I think SC would not have any difficulty in passing a just judgment.
NS is accused of hijacking the plane not masterminding it.
There are two sets of punishments one is hijacking other is masterminding….someone will correct me if I am wrong…and NS is found guilty of hijacking.
Its necessary for a hijacker to be in the plane to hijack.
Suppose he was found guilty on masterminding…As a sitting PM he had tremendous powers to do things which comes under his jurisdiction and not classified as crime because sitting PM a legit authority had done that.
But I am sure if he had given few instructions through his chain of command, it would be hard to prove that he had given those instructions because in Pakistan a man in power can give verbal instructions and those should be followed no question asked.
Now the last and final point and most difficult for prosecutor to prove is intent of NS.
A Sitting PM does not have to kill his COAS..he can simply sack him to get rid of him…If prosecutor try to prove his intentions were to kill Mush then SC can ask why he did not simply sacked him…at this point malafide intents would reverse on Mush…Why it was difficult for sitting PM to get rid of unwelcome COAS so that he has to plan to kill him.
My two cents
@jazoo
The whole case should be thrown out, wat hijacking he was the PM of the country he can direct any plane anywhere, the person who hijacked the plane was Gen, Musharraf, He should be tried for treason, hijacking, conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman, bringing disrepute to the institution of army and i can go on n on;).
Regrading sacking of COAS, NS did fire Mushy.
@pak.nukes
“IK is not assertive, I don’t find him focused…”
I don’t think it’s fair to say that he is not assertive and focused. If any, then he has been one of the most brave, vocal, focused and assertive politicians in the arena regarding the recent debacles. And that too with all his flaws. You don’t need to be BIG a genius to bypass the current elite, where you have leaders like AZ, Jatoi etc.
“I love what he says about America’s interference in Pakistan but he has to follow a particular track only criticizing America serves no purpose.”
Well, I think his critic of the Americans is balanced. Why is he much more visible than any other significant leader? Isn’t it because dares criticize Pakistan’s “Master”. Nobody else does it – be it PPP or PML-N. If they are “astray” i.e. commit a mistake and criticize their master, then it is mostly too vague i.e. for no use. They can never be taken seriously by anyone.
On the other hand he has also shown a keen interest to talk to the Americans in since he believes that they can be convinced to change their strategy. The problem with the current leaders is that they say what the Americans want to hear, and what can give most USD, and not what is good for America and especially NOT what is good
for Pakistan.
“IK has disappointed at least me (if that matters)he needs a lot of political maturity.”
You are fully entitled to be disappointed, but I think you should consider the FACT that our society is messed up. Not many “shareef” apart from the born “Sharif’s” want to be a part of the political arena. Many feel that it is genuine reason for staying away from dirty politics to save the honor. IMO it is not okay to stay away since we will leave the ground to thugs and thieves – just like now.
Anyways it is the main reason we don’t have decent people representing Pakistanis. Another reason is that our society has been badly hit by the lacking ability to analyse a person/policies etc. People keep on parroting their support to the same old time fraudsters
Apart from that I agree with you that IK needs more political maturity. He can only gain that by being in that particular position. My own experience has time and again proven that if a person has a potential he/she might start with hesitation and be non assertive in the beginning, but when they have settled after a short time they will start to deliver! BUT that demands POTENTIAL to be in that position. I believe that IK has the potential, but as you mentioned he needs maturity which will come with experience in THAT position.
“I strongly believe that he should be given a chance to serve the nation.”
Personally I fear that he will never reach that position. He has too many powerful opponents in the form of thugs/thieves/establishment/Army/slaves.
I want to se a leader who can stand by ANY other leader as an EQUAL and NOT a SUBMISSIVE SLAVE!
@Observer
I want to answer everyting that you have written but at the moment I am watching SA/Pak semi—52/3.
I want to say one thing only. Pak establishment is the one grooming IK and investing hugely in him at the moment, I am surprised that you don’t know about it. Pak establishment is at war with the CIA and this reason is good enuf for them to back/groom IK. Only time will tell who wins in this war of elephants.
God they only scored 150. That might not be a good enough target against SA.
Re: Imran Khan and Pak establishment. Pak establishment lacks intellectual capacity to do anything. It comprises of a few morons who could not even shoot straight. These morons dont even know that Moron-in-Chief has to be kept in wraps and somewhere deep down in a dungeon not let loose all over the world.
Just look at their handling of something simple as the economy. How the hell could we expect them to handle a fight with CIA?
@pak.nukes

It’s will be a tough match – a worthy semifinal. BUT there can be only one winner and that is Pakistan, inshallah!
What a tremendous batting and bowling by Shahid Afridi. Come on Umer Gul. Now it’s your turn to deliver.
Kallis out. 17 balls left and SA still needs 39 runs. They will NOT get them, inshallah!
23 runs from last over???
A South African friend said this morning that Pakistan will win this match. He thought Bob Wolmer’s ghost is on Pakistani side!
Greaaat. Pakistan won by 7 runs and is now in the final!

Yeh Pakistan is in the finals
Let me call my South African friend!!!!

What a great performance by the Pakistani team and especially Shahid Afridi. MoM must be Shahid Afridi with 51 quick runs and 2 for 16 in fours overs. Very well done.
One SA supporter wrote this to Cricinfo when they were loosing:
“Jack Peavy from SA: “Chooooooookers….. I am so disappointed in my team. Year after year, heartbreaks…. a miracle can save us now.”
What can I say other than Shane Warne is right….choookers

One kid jumped when it slows down at Sama Sata.
What amazes me this news is flashing all over the channels.
Its like forewarning the abductors before they are caught.
As a matter of fact this news should not be made public unless the whole ring is trapped.
fixed now u can watch shorter version.
LOL
Look at the disgust at Kalis’s face!
But let us fear being proud. Look wat happened to indians.
This may well be Afridi’s last major tournament. As a fan who enjoyed his batting (Sher ka Bacha) I want us to win decisively and for him to leave with the memory of a 6X6.
And that will be the ultimate tribute to Bob Wolmer’s memory.

‘No Comment’ Is Not an Option
By Paul Wolfowitz
This article is the proof that clearly proves the notions of US/UK and their three month long campaign in the build up to these elections have been in place beyond any reasonable doubts.
Those “demonstrators” on the streets of Tehran whipped into a a frenzy by a bunch of lapdogs of the US/UK are too young to remember the brutal regime of Shah, and or the long and tortuous path of Iranians to their current independence of action.
Hence the Republic needs to educate these young to the dangers posed by the outsiders and their evil intentions in meddling in the domestic Iranian affairs.
However, must thank the Zionist racist war criminal Paul Wolfowitz for his support of the misguided souls in Tehran, his support, speaks volumes about the intentions, and the integrity of the those behind the current power grab in Tehran. These characters are indeed the lackeys and sock puppets of the US/UK.
These plan should have been sanctioned by Bush the “commander in chief guy” and are now bearing their bitter fruits.
The opposition in Iran is no more than a bunch of traitors and Zionist toadies bent on subjugation of the Iranians for the benefit of the interests of their masters in Tel Aviv, London, and New York.
@nota
And still the Butt fan club claims policies of opponents to be “flip-flop” policies……indeed shame on kh. Asif and PML-N in general. He is obviously only a loyal bull dog who willingly “bite” opponents, when his master require it. On the other hand they also have “intellectual” bull dogs for different situations.
Kh. Asif is loyal because of personal favors from NS/SS. This is how party members in common stay loyal i.e. receive favors of some kind=money.
Osman Samiuddin about Pakistan’s miracle:
“Pakistan matters because no team could have pulled off what they have just pulled off and in the manner they did. Their march has not been just a great cricketing tale or a fine sporting one; it is a simpler, more important one of how men do things sometimes nobody expects them to, of how from any darkness light can emerge. Even if we’re not sure how the tale was written, how long it will go on and when, or whether, it will happen again, we must celebrate it, be grateful for it and not forget it. ”
Link to full story: http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/409883.html
Remember that nobody believed in Pakistan? They were rusty, not organised, no consistency etc.
In the same way I believe in Pakistan as a nation. I believe – in spite of all darkness and in spite of all the darkness, that one beautiful day we will ensure that the right leadership will steer Pakistan out of troubled waters. If Pakistanis can be made mad about victories in cricket matches, then what will happen if we can have a similar good feeling in the society in general? Wouldn’t Pakistanis generally stand behind a sincere government? I believe they WILL, inshallah!
Don’t be pessimistic – all of sudden we could experience a change in Pakistan. Don’t wait for others to take the initiative. We just need to stay focused and make our individual contributions in what ever way we are capable of!
@nota
“So is there a difference between the two parties? I just don’t see that….”

The first is no news, but the second part with Q&A is interesting. Could Mr. President Asif Ali Zardari have represented Pakistan even 10% of this?

Url: & Embeded.
3 – Copy everything that is in the box named embeded. This the html code to to embed youtube videos on the blogs.
4 – Paste the code in the comment wherever you want, usually after ur comment. eg: hey check out this video and then next line paste the code and press submit comment. You are done. You can try test comments and once u have gotten a handle of it lemme know i will delete those comments.

Suicide Bombing on Imam Khomeni’s shrine. Is there any doubt who is behind this.
This is typical Mossad operation.
That is what can be expected from the enemies of Iran, but the sad part would be if the Iranians started to fight each other. Let’s hope that they can stay calm and show that they are not a stupid nation.
Taukeer don’t forget that the talibans of all kinds have ‘wahabi’ beliefs and shrines according to thei belief is ‘shirk’ so the anti-Muslims forces happily use their vulnerability on the issue of ‘shirk’ as a tool to ridicule other sects of Islam.
@Nukes
Taliban and Wahabis are a convenient scapegoat. I don’t believe any Muslim can ignore and misunderstand what is going on. To me any “muslim” who participates in an attack on another non military muslim target is a Fasid and should be strung up. I am sure Wahabis and Taliban are aware of the rules of war in Islam.
THOSE WHO DON’T ABIDE BY THE RULES OF WAR IN ISLAM CAN’T CLAIM TO BE MUSLIMS.
Mossad specializes in TURNING ENEMY’S GUNS ON HIMSELF(The Enemy). And Jahil MUSLIMS SPECIALIZE IN TURNING THEIR GUNS ON THEMSELVES.
There you go but yes Wahabi sect is the most ignorant sect…why can’t they let others live the way they want to? Shirk or no shirk is people’s personal choice but they like to butt in big time. Thank you Mossad/Raw/CIA and our ignorant jahil Muslim brothers.
I am running away from the forum now because the moment Afzaal reads my post, I would be pronounced ‘mushrik and wajib-ul-qatal.
Taukeer meet me outside the forum…:):):)
@Nukes Server is down!
But I can’t turn this into Wahabi Non Wahabi issue. That is exactly the enemy(OBAMA AND OTHER HOUSE SLAVES OF ZIONISTS) want us to do.
@Admin
That IS what I did at “20 June 2009 at 6:27 am”
here is the video tutorial. Dun worry abt signing in new post, title, and others just paste it in the comment section.
Admin Kardish, That is what I been doing – at least it is my intention. Can you see the code I sent?
There is something else wrong. I tried to put in the same code as someone had used earlier in another thread. That failed too.
Is there anybody else than nota and admin who can post videos?
@pak.nukes??
@Taukeer?
??
What is wrong with this code?
“”
Wil try and let u know
sorry guys my bad you guys can’t emebed youtube vids cuz of user level. Will try to get a fix for that.
@admin
OK, but remember to have a clear policy about who is admin. It should not be like PKP Idi Amin, where certain contributors have admin rights without the knowledge of other contributors. Just a suggestion
As I see it only @nota has extended (admin) rights. Am I right?
He doesn’t have admin rights but he does have moderator rights hence he can post the vids, nota also checking to see if we can enable some html codes unforunatley wordpress dun allow many html codes so looking at plugins, if not then i guess selected few can only embed vids.
OK, thanks for your clarification. I am looking forward to see the progress.
“Obama, in your speech in Cairo you advised Palestinians to “abandon violence”! What about me advising you to abandon violence, war-mongering, against the people of Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan and now Iran! Within 24 hours of starting your coup campaign in Tehran, you managed to kill over 10 people and wound many more! You have armed CIA agents with not all fire-arms but also state of the art war-tools and sent them to Iran for the sake of making a coup detat; how can you do this and then advise Palestinians to “abandon violence”? What about advising Lieberman and Natanyahoo to abandon violence at least for the during of your speech at Cairo University? Why did you not pay a visit to Gaza to see the extent of violence by Israel against Palestinians? Why do you talk and act as if Gaza, the place where Israeli govt commits holocaust / plays concentration camp games against Palestinians, don’t exist? Are you a fool? Or do you think your audience in the ME are fools and won’t notice you have left out Gaza from your equations? Are you capable of being “deeply troubled” when you kill Iraqis, Af-Paks, Iranians, Palestinians (via your agent Israel) en mass? Or the words you use to describe your feelings about your efforts to topple govt of Iran do not reflect your true feelings about such matters! Or shall we make the matter as simple as possible and call you a hypocrite you preaches what he is not prepared to do himself!!!”
Hahaha….Taukeer voilence is what we do, these hypocrites do ‘war on terror’. hypocrisy galore!

Do We Really Care About Democracy? Iran Election
http://www.chartingstocks.net/2009/06/do-we-really-care-about-democracy-iranelection/
“As soon as Ahmadinejad was declared the victor in Iran’s election EACH of our mainstream media sources were ready to cry foul and dismiss the results as an “obvious” fraud (see links below). One might think that a functioning media would produce ONE inquisitive reporter that was brave enough to even entertain the idea that Ahmadinejad, the incumbent with extremely high support in the country’s rural and poor areas, actually won. Unfortunately, we don’t have reporters like that in our mainstream media (which is why their readership continues to plummet).
If you doubt that the Iranian election media bombardment was deliberate, ask yourself – Do you know who won last months Panamanian election ? Did you even know there was an election? It’s not your fault if you don’t. Actually, I don’t see how you could know without a functioning media.
Have you heard much about the democratic elections in Saudi Arabia lately? Of course not. They don’t have elections. Any media outrage for the people of Saudi Arabia? A country ruled by one of the most repressive regimes on the planet. But hey, they’re our allies. We don’t talk about them (and certainly won’t tweet it).
What about the 2006 (monitored) democratic election in Gaza in which the people resisted western threats and bribes and elected Hamas as their leader? We responded by punishing the people of Gaza and cutting aid to the region. Well, they committed a supreme crime. They voted the wrong way and must be punished for it. I’m waiting for a sympathetic #GazaElection hashtag on Twitter, though I won’t hold my breathe.”

Qari Zainuddin Mehsud shot dead in DI Khan
Updated at: 0919 PST, Tuesday, June 23, 2009
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A gunman shot dead Qari Zainuddin, a rival commander of Baitullah Mehsud in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday morning.
A close aide of Qari Zainuddin while confirming the killing of Qari Zainuddin claimed that he was shot dead by Gulbadeen Mehsud who was managed to flee from the scene. Gulbadeen is a resident of Makeen area. Another associate of Qari Zainuddin sustained injuries in the incident.
Qari Zainuddin had recently given statements to the media opposing Mehsud.
His 2nd in command killed him, guess 2IC was in mehsud pocket. lol

Wait for government to take responsibility just like Mush did.
SWA: Death tally in drone strike touches to 65
SOUTH WAZIRISTAN AGENCY: The death toll in suspected US drone strike in the South Waziristan Agency has risen to 65, witnesses and officials said late on Tuesday adding that the missiles hit a funeral procession.
Sohail Mehsud from the town of Makeen in the South Waziristan tribal region said he saw three unmanned drones fired missiles on Tuesday afternoon at the funeral procession for suspected militants killed by a similar strike earlier in the day.
At least two missiles were fired at the funeral prayers, killing at least 17 people earlier and injuring several others but later in the day the death toll mounted to 65.
The missile attack targeted the hideouts of Baitullah Mehsud, where Commander Sangeen is reported to have been killed.
Commander Sangeen belongs to Afghanistan.
U.S. officials concede missiles fired from drones have targeted suspected militant leaders in the tribal zone for months, but they do not comment on individual strikes.

@nota,
Yeah but am still amazed at the sequence.
1 – Talibaan spotted, took 10 mins of back and forth to open fire on them by apache heli.
2 – Apparently 10 – 12 were killed.
3 – Then ground troops as u can see surrounding the remaining taliban from all sides.
4 – One taliban blew himself. Picture shows only one left. which took them 20 mins to kill, one brave taliban that was lol.

Dunya TV female broadcaster Mahees Usmani resigns,Alleges sexual Harassment.
By: Shamsul Islam Naz
PFUJ Secretariat: POPULAR FEMALE BROADCASTER RESIGNS, ALLEGES HARASSMENT ISLAMABAD: 27 :_Journalists fight for the rights of others, but how can they do that when their own rights are not protected and are trampled upon at will by some shady characters. “Harassment of female members in the workplace has always been a problem raised by the electronic and print media, but what happens when the guardians of women’s rights themselves indulge in unprofessional and disgusting behavior? “This seems to be the case of a certain TV channel whose CEO allegedly not only allows such incidents to take place, but also makes it a point to punish the woman involved for her right to complain against such issues at work.” The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) is in receipt of a complaint from a female broadcaster/ correspondent, “Dunya News”, – Maheen Usmani, who tendered her resignation owing to harassment. Although the woman had joined the channel at the time of its launch, she could hardly continue her job for over seven months as she was angry with the continued harassment, coercion and unethical conduct of the top management. She finally got disappointed with the organization and realized that her employer was protecting the managing director, who did not stop abusing his official position and put an end to his tactics. The said media manager like in other channels has been given an upper hand over the journalistic staff and they dictate their terms and violate the journalistic norms. The woman says that she had worked best media organizations during here career and never faced such an ugly situation. She was shocked to receive a phone call from the MD who according to her counted the expected benefits that a less important bureau reporter can get in return for keeping a direct contact with the MD on his personal number. She alleged that the MD’s talk was loathed with innuendoes and offers. The PFUJ regrets that CEO instead of empowering the directors news or respective bureau chiefs gave the MD more powers to interact directly with the reporters who already felt harassed by him. The PFUJ says that she noted all these months that while contractual rights of male staff members were being denied by the said MD despite repeated reminders, but he was going out of way to oblige a female staff member. She brought the matter to the notice of the director news who took up the matter with the MD who apologized over this incident. However, with the sudden departure of the director news the MD found an opportunity to take revenge. She alleged that “instead of reigning in MD, the CEO/ owner of the channel gave him an open hand and the MD immediately embarked upon a campaign to place obstacles in her path. Her special assignments were withheld on frivolous grounds. Later her programme Meri Dharti Meri Dunya a weekly landmark programme of the Dunya, which proved its popularity, was not aired at the scheduled time and instead a documentary was aired and as such the programme was distorted and chopped several times and once it was aired as a filler for a brief time prior to the scheduled live coverage of the President, Richard Holbroke and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. There is a need to improve the legislation to protect women at workplaces and create awareness about malpractices in Pakistan’s media industry.” The PFUJ added. The woman broadcaster, Maheen Usmani, who was a correspondent of the Dunya TV, narrates her ordeal at the TV channel as follows:- “It was with great expectations and high hopes that I became part of Dunya’s launch team in November 2008, and I took great pride in being part of Dunya ‘family’ as it climbed the ladder of success and gave tough competition to leading channels. Seven months later, it is with great regret that I have decided to tender my resignation as the circumstances have forced me to leave this organization due to the continued harassment, coercion and highly unethical conduct of the top management of Dunya News. Now it has become unbearable to work here as the situation has increasingly turned out to be insecure, rather punishing, for professional female journalists who want to work, as well as, protect their self-respect.” “ I have waited with patience since May 11, 2009 that the Managing Director of Dunya News, Yousaf Beg Mirza, would stop abusing his official position and put an end to his ugly tactics of harassing a senior female journalist working here. I, however, was totally disappointed with this organization when I realized that Mr Mirza’s employer, CEO and the owner of this news channel, is not interested in protecting the female employees from the advances of the MD but is in connivance with him.” “It was shocking to know that Mr Mirza is being shielded by the CEO of the organization, Mian Amer Mahmood, who was told about Mr Mirza’s indecent advances but he did not stop the MD from abusing his authority. Once it was brought to his notice, Mr Mahmood had given the assurances that no such harassment would take place but not only that this harassment continued, the CEO instead of empowering the Director News or respective Bureau Chiefs, gave the MD more powers to interact directly with the reporters who already felt harassed by him.” “This all started on May 11th, 2009 at 10:01 p.m., when I received a call from one of the staff members of the Managing Director, Yousaf Beg Mirza, aka YBM, to confirm my cell number. This was followed by another call at 10:07 p.m., made by the MD. During that phone call, which continued for few minutes, his suggestive talk was loathed with innuendoes, and offers as he counted the expected benefits that a less-important, bureau-reporter can get in return for keeping a direct “contact” with the Managing Director on his “personal number.” Read the rest of this entry »

CIA Crucified Captive in Abu Ghraib Prison
By Sherwood Ross
June 29, 2009 “Global Research” — “The Central Intelligence Agency crucified a prisoner in Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad, according to a report published in The New Yorker magazine.
“A forensic examiner found that he (the prisoner) had essentially been crucified; he died from asphyxiation after having been hung by his arms, in a hood, and suffering broken ribs,” the magazine’s Jane Mayer writes in the magazine’s June 22nd issue. “Military pathologists classified the case a homicide.” The date of the murder was not given.
“No criminal charges have ever been brought against any C.I.A. officer involved in the torture program, despite the fact that at least three prisoners interrogated by agency personnel died as a result of mistreatment,” Mayer notes.
An earlier report, by John Hendren in The Los Angeles Times indicted other torture killings. And Human Rights First says nearly 100 detainees have died in U.S. custody in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hendren reported that one Manadel Jamadi died “of blunt-force injuries” complicated by “compromised respiration” at Abu Ghraib prison “while he was with Navy SEALs and other special operations troops.” Another victim, Abdul Jaleel, died while gagged and shackled to a cell door with his hands over his head.” Yet another prisoner, Maj. Gen. Abid Mowhosh, former commander of Iraq’s air defenses, “died of asphyxiation due to smothering and chest compression” in Qaim, Iraq.
“There is no question that U.S. interrogations have resulted in deaths,” says Anthony Romero, executive director of the ACLU. “High-ranking officials who knew about the torture and sat on their hands and those who created and endorsed these policies must be held accountable. America must stop putting its head in the sand and deal with the torture scandal.” At least scores of detainees in U.S. custody have died and homicide is suspected. As far back as May, 2004, the Pentagon conceded at least 37 deaths of prisoners in its custody in Iraq and Afghanistan had prompted investigations.
Nathaniel Raymond, of Physicians for Human Rights, told The New Yorker, “We still don’t know how many detainees were in the black sites, or who they were. We don’t fully know the White House’s role, or the C.I.A.’s role. We need a full accounting, especially as it relates to health professionals.”
Recently released Justice memos, he noted, contain numerous references to CIA medical personnel participating in coercive interrogation sessions. “They were the designers, the legitimizers, and the implementers,” Raymond said. “This is arguably the single greatest medical-ethics scandal in American history. We need answers.”
The ACLU obtained its information from the Pentagon through a Freedom of Information suit. Documents received included 44 autopsies and death reports as well as a summary of autopsy reports of people seized in Iraq and Afghanistan. An ACLU statement noted, “This covers just a fraction of the total number of Iraqis and Afghanis who have died while in U.S. custody.” (Italics added).
Torture by the CIA has been facilitated by the Agency’s ability to hide prisoners in “black sites” kept secret from the Red Cross, to hold prisoners off the books, and to detain them for years without bringing charges or providing them with lawyers.
Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, denounced the Obama administration for considering “prevention detention,” The New Yorker’s Mayer wrote. Roth said this tactic “mimics the Bush Administration’s abusive approach.”
From all indications, CIA Director Panetta has no intention of bringing to justice CIA officials involved in the systematic torture of prisoners. Panetta told Mayer, “I’m going to give people the benefit of the doubt…If they do the job that they’re paid to do, I can’t ask for a hell of a lot more.”
Such sentiments differ markedly from those Panetta wrote in an article published last year in the January Washington Monthly: “We either believe in the dignity of the individual, the rule of law, and the prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment, or we don’t. There is no middle ground.”
One way to discern who really runs a country is to look to see which individuals, if any, are above the law. In the Obama administration, like its predecessors, they include the employees of the CIA. Crucifixions they execute in the Middle East differ from those reported in the New Testament in at least one important respect: Jesus Christ had a trial.

“PML-N, PML-Q MPAs come to blows in Punjab PA
Tuesday, June 30, 2009
By Faizan Bangash
LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly on Monday witnessed complete mayhem after Prisons Minister Ch Abdul Ghafoor manhandled a woman legislator of the PML-Q for displaying a banner against the chief minister.
Ghafoor embarrassed the entire treasury after he manhandled two women parliamentarians as well as used abusive language against Bushra Nawaz Gardezi. He hit headlines after his encounter with customs officials at the Allama Iqbal International Airport last month.
Meanwhile, amid severe criticism against the PML-N leadership, the opposition staged a walkout and demanded immediate dismissal of the minister from the cabinet. Forward bloc leader Ata Maneka also joined the walkout.
Situation got tense in the assembly when, during a point of order, Senior Minister Raja Riaz used the words ‘Ghaddar’ (traitor) and ‘Indian agent’ against Legharis to taunt the PML-Q legislator Mohsin Leghari. Mohsin had criticised the PPP leadership a few minutes earlier for its silence over the blockade of water to the Taunsa-Panjnad Canal.
Cross comments were made from both the treasury and the opposition. Following this, PML-N parliamentarian Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, on a point of order, once again criticised ëLegharis’. This once again infuriated the opposition MPAs and women members of the PML-Q, including Bushra Nawaz Gardezi and Samina Khawar Hayat, raised placards inscribed with slogans against Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, calling him a traitor. This provoked a sharp reaction from the treasury benches and most of the members stood up on their seats and started shouting against the opposition.
In the meantime, the prisons minister rushed to the benches where the women MPAs of the PML-Q were sitting. Much to the surprise of his own party members, he pushed back Bushra Nawaz Gardezi and Samina Khawar Hayat and tried to snatch the placards. After his party men stopped him from all this, he used abusive language against the women parliamentarians.
This resulted into an exchange of hot words between the two sides and they hurled copies of the budget book at each other. A PML-N MPA from Gujranwala, Shaukat Manzoor Cheema, also had a brief scuffle with deputy opposition leader Muhammad Yar Hiraj. A copy of the budget book thrown by Cheema hit Dr Samia Amjad.
Soon after the opposition member left the house in protest, Shehzadi Umerzadi Tiwana, a PML-N MPA from Sargodha, protested the manhandling of women. Later, talking to the media along with other members, opposition leader Ch Zaheeruddin demanded sacking of Ch Abdul Ghafoor and announced to continue the boycott of the proceedings till the minister is dismissed.”

President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was keen on democratising the Constitution by removing its anti-democratic clauses, injected into it by the successive dictatorships.
yes, off course we “believe” you…..you are the epitome of the “oracle of truth”
This story will off course fizzle out and nothing will happen
Compared to many other problems this story could be of minor importance or is it a core problem i.e. the baboo(n) mentality?

@Observer:
“he was carrying the liquor for Senator Mir Hasil khan Bezinjo and Senator Dr Abdul Malik. She said, “The circumstances of Balochistan were so critical that no one was ready to talk against the Baloch senators and the Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali had also requested me to forgive the Baloch senators.””
Keen observations. Plausible though!
