Dr. Sarfraz Naeemi Martyred in Lahore Blast
LAHORE: At least four people including Jamia Naeemia principal Dr Sarfraz Naeemi were martyred and several others injured in a suicide blast at Jamia Naeemia situated in Garhi Shahu area of Lahore, Geo News reported Friday.
The blast occurred after the Friday prayers when the people were making their way out of the mosque after offering the Friday prayers.
Jamia Naeemia principal Dr Sarfraz Naeemi was present at his office at the Jamia Naeemia at the time of blast, the eyewitnesses said.
The blast was so powerful that the outer walls of the Jamia Naeemia Masjid collapsed. The nearby buildings were harmed in the blast. The blast occurred when a lot of people were present in the mosque.
The personnel of the security forces cordoned off the area and started the relief operation.
The injured are being rushed to the Meo Hospital. Emergency has been declared in the hospitals of the Lahore.
The security forces are searching the building on the apprehension of another bomb.
There are reports that the blast was suicide attack.

This is another cowardly attack. They are targetting mosques where is the damn govt.:(
As usuall, everyone is criticizing Taliban as an executor of this suicide attack but no one is emphasizing on the point that who is responsible of Dr. Naeemi’s killing right after the death of Mufti Amin and who would exploit killings Mufti Amin and Mufti Naeemi belonging to two different schools of thought.
IMO, no one is responsible but it is joint operation of RAW, agents of CIA in Pakistan and few groups who are getting aid from India through Afghanistan to destablize Pakistan.
From both killings, only India and US are beneficiary because now there would be long-lasting clash between dyobandi and Bravli school of thoughts.
Who committed this heinous crime?
Maybe we will never know for sure, because the suspects are the usual ones. My first thought is that it cannot be Taliban, but maybe India or Western sponsored terrorists under the disguise of Taliban. Why would Taliban target a religious man? Doesn’t make sense.
Ghaddari is going to address the nation on God knows what tonite…

Yes it is a sad day and I hate to say this but we all said it before that this will happen if we did not change course
Let us examine this set of events as though we were a DOCTOR examining a patient- objectively and without any prior opinions or prejudices.
What we have here is the start of the use of violence as a political instruement by different groups. We would like to avoid the chicken and egg situation as to what came first but in the study of historical events we have to start somewhere. So even though it might seem artificial- I will make the start and if anyone has different ideas then they can make their own starting point.
We are and have been taught where one set of truths is considered the optimum truth. Everything else is labeled UNTRUE or illegitimate. Example- the Sunni say that the Shia are wrong and the Shia say the Sunni are wrong. They modify history to try to prove their own points of view. But leaving this aside- this mindset leads to the conditions we have to-day in Pakistan.
Just like the turbines when moved by WATER ( in a dam) produce electricity- the great dynamo for political upheaval is injustice or a sense of perceived injustice .
A continuing cumulative sense of injustice that has prevailed amongst the Muslims of the world is an explosive volcanic political situation.
Eaxmple-
The forced artificial creation of the Jewish state of Israel with the forced trans location of the Muslims in Palestine. Then the continuous cruelties and torture and genocide of the Palestinians for the last 60 years.
The Kashmir disaster.
The dictatorial control and usurpation of authority by lackeys and agents of the West in the Muslim countries.
The Russian invasion of Afghanistan- Oh Yes ! now finally the people of the Muslim world rose to fight the Russains and went there and the Russians were defeated and left.
But the injustices remained everywhere. Then the big explosion of September 11 th 2001 . Regardless what the news media said or the rulers in the Muslim world said – there was a under current of satisfaction that was present in the Arab masses in the street.
So here we come to Pakistan- the ” self proclaimed ” FEARLESS dictator of Pakistan crumbles before one telephone call.
Us invasion and bombardment takes place in Afghanistan.
And what does Pakistan do ?
They-( the city people) start singing “enlightened moderation” to endear themselves to their new masters- The USA and it’s lackeys of the West. They sell their own people-( the missing)-
More sense of injsutice.
The volcanic eruption gets closer and closer.
The election of Feb 18th 2008 . A slimmer of hope once again dashed- thanks to People’s leaders bought by the West again.
Betrayle after betrayle after betrayle.
The city folks want to continue their pseudo-western life style and cannot be bothered about the impending tseunami.
The volcano erupts. Bajaur, Mohmand, Waziristan, Swat , Buner,
The army invades-( on instructions from the US and the West.
The Jacobin-(extremists, Taliban etc etc) find themselves cornered . Like a cat they strike out with uncontrolled fury at anyone and everyone who appears to be associated with or supports the continuation of the policies dictated by the West.
A religious leader/scholar comes out and says that the extremists are not following Islamic doctrine- well strike !
If we are to solve this problem that we have now- we need to think and reflect. We need leadership that is willing to do that just like a DOCTOR does- objectively as to how do we cure the patient. Sometimes you need surgery. Sometimes you need NO SURGERY. Sometimes you need both.
But in all cases you need to have your patient trust you and believe in you and your plans.
What do we have to-day in Pakistan ? We do not have Doctors-(Leaders) we do not have Hakeems. We do not have even QUACKS.
We have thieves. We have crooks.
And they can’t do anything.
Get the picture ?
So do not go around calling names to the Taliban or India or anyone else.
Call a spade a spade. We are headed for disaster and those that are at the helm are blind, deaf and brainless.

I fully agree on your proposal i.e. analyse and cure instead of headless use of force to satisfy the West and mindslaves of the West.
Sadly I also see a lot of hopelessness. If true then then I do not agree. I am of the type who would fight for what I think is the right cause until the end result – which is hopefully the survival of Pakistan, inshallah!

I am fast reaching at point where I really dun care who is involved behind. The fact of the matter remains our own ppl are being used to carry out the attacks and thus they have to be crushed.
Ofcoz mufti muneeb and ilk will blame Talibaan their halva manda being taken away from them by strict deobandi interpretation.
I really dun care how and who did it. We are fast reaching the point where TTP or whoever they are has to lay down the arms, we can’t sustain it. And if they choose to fight, I will fight but on my own terms. This stupid operation is not the way. The basic principle of counter insurfency is to disrupt enemy supply lines, where nothing has been done.

current wave of destablizing Pakistan needs deep and inside analysis and identify the dual role of India and USA on the line that both are supporting Pakistan against “Taliban” while on the same time they are financing Baitullah or/and few other group in FATA. But as usual our commentators on blogs, forums and media bashing Taliban. They are considering TTP as main disease but the real problem is dual role of US and INdia in the region.
Some points which is necessary to consider to understand current situation:
-Where are China and Saudi Arabia in current crises? Why are they not showing any interest in current crises?
- Why China and SA isolate themselves from current Pakisan crises?
-Why are zardari visiting Iran repeatdly and ignoring China and SA?
-Showing three Saudi citizens on media as Mujahedin and crticizing SA for their support to Taliban and Jihad
We have to do in-depth analysis otherwise there is no difference between suiciders and us; Baitullah or few group do brain-wash of 16 years old boys and media is doing brain-wash of us by hammering that only Taliban are responsible for current crises.

Don’t tell me you don’t know who is Muslim Khan
You don’t know who is Baitullah Mehsud
You don’t know who is Fazlullah.
Almost all of these are graduate of Molana Diesel Madrisa.
Salim Safi of Daily jang quote once he saw Baitullah Mehsud in the company of Molana Diesel paying homage to him by rubbing his legs.
Now you will criticize Diesel for political reasons but would never bother for religious reasons and feigned to not know anything about his so called Madrisa.
BTW one of the injured student of Molana Naeemi quote he saw one young guy entered immediately before blast.

One of an old man’s-(mine)- thoughts have revolved and reverberated in his old brain since september 11 , 2001. It is as though the reflective part of the brain is like a CD stuck and continues to spin and spin at the same place.
That thought or rather the question is-
Why does a suicide bomber blow himself up ?
The usual nonsense about brain washing etc is not what I am talking about. I am talking about the decision by the indivisual to end one’s life while subjecting to others to injury and perhaps death.
Has life become so meaningless or is it anger that is the driving force ? Or is it accumulated anger resulting from a perception that the only thing left to do is to strike out at one’s (imagined !)- tormentors or those that cooperate with the tormentors.
Take the case of this Sarfraz Naeemi .
Why did he have to come out and give public statements about suicide bombers and for what purpose.
OK. Islam forbids suicide but everyone knows that- why did Sarfraz Naeemi had to speak on TV condemning them without looking into why these people are blowing
themselves up ?
Is it so simple that give someone drugs and brain wash them and kaboom !
Until and unless this question can be answered in a logical and rational manner and the causes dealt with- I am afraid this process that we are seeing will continue and get worse.
I have always wondered what drove Ata and his gang to do what they did on September 11th 2001 and I am still wondering and have yet to find the answer.
Mullah diesel should be sent down to Swat to deal with these Talibans. He and his party members should carry their guns not in cities but in Swat where military should use them to fight against the Talibans.
Another thought provoking situation that has gone unoticed-(un commented upon) is the URBAN elite – non urban-( country bumpkns- uneducated and un-represented)- divide both in terms of economics and social development .
In the country – it appears that a small minority or clique controls everything from the budget to the information and it wants to continue to control. The elite or should I say Westernized Elite wish to maintain the status quo and they wish to have everyone follow their view of the universe-( to suite them and their ICONS in the West)-
A great book by Jalal Ale Ahmad – GHARBZADGI should required reading for all the children of the Urban Elite !
What brought forth the Iranian Revolution- an obscure discriminatory law put in place by the Shah that Americans in Iran could not be tried by the Iranian Courts and were immune to all Iranian Laws – the same law is in place in Iraq, in Afghanistan and in Pakistan and probably in Saudi Arabia though I do not know for sure.
But this has not brought about a revolution in those countries.
The use of selective news items and propaganda in Pakistan by this same Western Elite is determining whatever policy making or lack there of there is.
And this has been going on for 60 plus years.
Those that continue to harp on democracy in Pakistan- do not wish for democracy at all. They wish to have a situation where THEY control the thought process of the masses in addition to controlling everything else which they do anyway.
