President Zardari’s Address to the Nation

Assalam-o-Alaikum
Our valiant soldiers are fighting for the country’s survival.
The whole nation has stood up against the militants.
These elements are not Taliban because they are against pursuit of education.
They are destroying schools and colleges with bombs and beheading innocent people.
They destroy people’s houses, kill doctors who try to administer polio drops.
They intend to implement their agenda on the entire nation through use of force.
They want to seize country’s institutions.
They carried out deadly attacks in Lahore and Nowshehra today.
They carry out their activities in the name of Islam but they have no relation whatsoever with Islam.
When Ms. Bhutto came back to Pakistan they killed 200 people
They killed assassinated when she challenged these elements, saying: “I will face them.”
They recently targeted a hotel in Peshawar and martyred 20 people.
We will carry on the war against these elements
We will send the IDPs back to their homes with dignity and restore their businesses.
Only victory will be the fate of the nation.
The soldiers of Pakistan Army have rendered great sacrifices.
I announce immediate increase in the salaries of the soldiers presently fighting the militants in the conflict zones. The increase in salary will be equal to their one-month pay and this addition has been made forever.
While increase in the salaries of other troops will be made from January 1.
I announce setting up of a military base in Swat.

actually I like the idea of chowni in Swat area, get rid of FC constablary set a proper regiment for whole tribal area using local youth. Do it ala panno aqail chowni, which did wonder to kick RAW back JSQM out of Sindh.
Comical speech that he could not deliver despite extra rehearsal time with DOCTOR SAHIB! But then Doctor Sahib is only an ex-surgeon. Maybe he needs time with a Psychiatrist.
