    A good interaction with the Americans. If all our leaders could be like that then (maybe) American policies or rather dictations could stop. America has gained so much power that we (maybe) cannot rule out all kind of interference, but at least we can say that we WILL NOT tolerate interference on core issues.

    Unfortunately there is a long way to go for such a scenario unless we get rid of the PPP/PML-N menace. Both parties are two sides of the same coin i.e. no matter who rules us we will sink lower and lower. We must get rid of that style of ad-hoc, vision less governance and maghreb zadah mentality like Bilal from the above video. Only that can save of from disaster!

  • Observer says:

    Btw: A good challenge to the maghreb zadah (Bilal) i.e. just mention one issue where IK had two different statements – one in Urdu and and another in English.

  • afzaalkhan says:

    Imran Khan’s problem is his party. I like his views, but can’t see anyone else besides him in the party. How abt him going around in Pakistan building local level party workers and explaining his views in jalsas.

  • taukeer says:

    He needs people. We have to stop sitting on the fence and come forward to help with all this organisation work.

    The problem with all of us is our individual constraints. Most of us agree with his point of view but don’t take the next step. I will be the first one to put up my hand and admit to this. I am nearing the threshold point!!! I have to admit! But I want to meet him and have and make up my mind weather he has the spark to be a leader?!

    • Observer says:

      @taukeer

      On one hand we demand that we see known people in PTI, but on the other hand we are SICK to see the same WELL known politicians. Isn’t that strange? Isn’t the need of the hour NEW faces? Instead of asking for known people we should accept the new faces with all their political shortcomings and the oratory skills. If we give them a chance they can improve, inshallah!

      I totally agree with you, Taukeer. In stead of being spectators we should come forward and do whatever we can do. I am not pointing fingers towards anybody. I am myself one of the spectators :-(

  • afzaalkhan says:

    bhayya problem with IK is, show. He might have committed voulanteers and pakistanis abroad, but where it shows his party structure inside Pakistan? Last I heard he was doing the membership drive after the judiciary restoration and wat happened to it? There are by elections happening why PTI members not been the candidate. Thats my point, every political party has presence inside Pakistan organization wise. And though I respect and admire sheereen mizari she dun click with massses, even BB was forced to carry dupatta and tasbeeh,u gotta click with masses who will vote not with youth only. Overseas support is stupid. So far IK has overwhelming support of overseas pakistani to gain wat? can’t vote baby. lol

  • taukeer says:

    @afzaalkhan I agree IK has overwhelming support overseas and needs to organize in Pakistan. PTI is participating in NA55 election. While I agree with ur comment about sheeren mizari but wud u not call her wearing Dupata and Tasbeeh hypocrisy.

    In Pakistan there is a two party system. What PTI needs to do is become the second party. I see most of the real PPP guys drifting to PML-N. (Remember the news that one of Federal Ministers wanted to assure himself PML-N ticket in the next election!!! ) So I wont be surprised that PPP in some form will be PML-N Junior partner. ZPP will die it’s natural death. Even Jiyalas are leaving in droves. Injection of new middle class blood in PTI at this juncture will help make it the leap to grab the second party slot.

  • Observer says:

    @Taukeer

    “While I agree with ur comment about sheeren mizari but wud u not call her wearing Dupata and Tasbeeh hypocrisy.”

    I’d like to see Shireen M. in a more traditional clothing, BUT I would rather let her be like she is instead of her showing hypocrisy like others – both in PPP and PML-N/PML-Q. She need not either become a minister. She could fit into a role in a PTI think tank. IMO that role would fit her more than any other role.

  • Observer says:

    @Taukeer

    “needs to organize in Pakistan”

    Sure, but bear in mind that it costs a lot of money, and unfortunately it is mostly thugs and thieves who have such amounts in Pakistan. In Pakistan most people look at it as some kind of investment i.e. they need a pay back at some stage…. :-(

    I know that some of the PTI initiatives has been stopped due to lack of money.

  • taukeer says:

    @Observer I agree organisation needs money but you have to fight the war with the resources you have. PTI needs to engage the youth who I believe are interested in seeing an alternative to the existing political setup.

    Organising the youth is more costeffective. Let us look at different effective grass root organisation techniques and come up with an effective plan.
