Unusually good programme for Dunya TV. As usual Shami displays his deep grasp on the history of 1970′s. His analysis is incisive. Khar’s analysis is also very informative in the sense that he had access to Bhutto’s inner circle. Minto lays into CIA with very good analysis of the US Admin and CIA relationship.

Shami however outperforms others! His narrative of Khar vs Bhutto animosity (Snakes in the Public gathering) is very compelling for someone like me who did not have a direct experience of that very turbulent period of out history.

Good concluding remarks by Moeed. As counter intuative as it might appear political leadership today is less adventurous and fool hardy then in the 70′s
