I understand Talat ppoint, that measures taken by Punjab govt do inspire fear in the market and will deterioate the situation, but that is acaddemic debate. capitalism has no heart everyone who knows capitalism and industry owners ways in Pakistan is well aware that their bottom line is profit at watever cost. When the sugar industry have reserve and they didn’t bring them in for somple reason of having more profit there is nothing to talk about. Its a crime and if that hurts market so be it. U deal them once and deal them fairly and u wont gonna have that problem again. The measures by the federal govt to solve it gonna hurt pakistani as it signalled caleraly to the industry that they can threaten and cripple the govt who will kneel down easily to thier demands. If industry argument is that its just some bad applees then why don’t they come out and name the bad apples and ask govrenment to take action against them. Btw still waiting from tareen and govt to answer Rana’s qts regarding fair price and lobbies influence.
