ARY News: Shangla suicide attack toll rises to 41

SHANGLA: The death toll in Shangla suicide attack at a check-post has increased to 41 including six security men.

Around 45 persons have been injured in the attack and 12 injured said to be in critical condition.

A suicide bomber rammed an explosives laden vehicle with a check post in the incident, reports said.

The troops cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation after clamping an unannounced curfew.

The blast damaged several nearby houses and shops.

WANA: The jets of Pakistani armed forces attacked in an area of South Waziristan Agency (SWA), killing at least 13 extremists, Geo News reported Sunday.

According to sources, the jets of Pak security forces pounded various hideouts of the extremists in Makeen and Ladha areas of SWA, killing 13 extremists.

Meantime, the surveillance planes are intermittently flying over various areas of North and South Waziristan.

Moreover, national lashkar destroyed three hideouts of the extremists in Lakki Marwat area of Shami Khel.
