Mr. President STFU

Mr. President STFU

Not a day goes by that a bomb dun get blast taking innocent lives all over Pakistan. If it is not a bomb blast, then poor masses are faced with street crimes ranging from mobile snatching to outright robbery by criminals, to make their suffering complete every few day government either raise the prices of basic necessities or allow cartels to loot the masses and make their lives as miserable as possible. The noise, pollution the daily struggle just to survive a day couple with terrorism should be enough to drive the sanest person to mass murder, yet the resilience of Pakistanis shows every day.

If these events were not enough Pakistan have to endure the dear leader’s late speeches. The President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has suddenly decided to leave his bunker and to converse with the masses. The masses must be longing for days when they didn’t have to go through the torture of a President who seems to have lost all its marbles.

At a time when the Nation desperately needs strong leadership and guidance we are treated with mad ranting of President and his cronies. From the Interior Minister of Sind who openly admit of plotting to disintegrate Pakistan to the senior PPP of Punjab who threatened to implement sharia law of chopping hands of anyone who dares to criticize the government. The cream of the crop was of course Mr. President himself, who has seriously become a paranoid schizophrenic.

Mr. Zardari lurches from blaming non-state actors to political actors to establishment to military and good old U.S.A for everything that is wrong with his presidency. Yes, everything not wrong with government or the nation but with his “own” presidency. That it is a requirment for a politician to be narcissistic is a given but the narcissism shown by this president is really astounding. While the nation suffers from all kind of issues, dear President find only thing worthy of his attention is his own presidency and the supposed conspiracies being hatched by his enemies to dethrone him. That the President mental health was always in question, is a known fact, the spineless attitude of his party who instead of trying to show their leader the follies of his way has decided to join the bandwagon of blasting everyone and everything in their way to cover up for their failures. The disgusting threats of using Sind card alone should be enough for the dissolvement of this government and impeachment of this President.

It would have been funny if the situation wasn’t that dire to hear President and his cronies claim that 1 anchor and 2 editor’s hold so much sway that they can bring down an elected government. Facts are that the ineptness and corruption of this government has been shown to all. They have no plan; neither can they provide any solution to anything. The maula jutt style routine won’t fool anyone; it just shows the masses how insecure the government is. At a time with Pakistan own survival is being questioned, Mr. President has choose to save himself and his cronies at whatever cost. Pakistanis don’t ask much from their government for basic reason they don’t believe government can provide anything. But am sure they will join me asking this government and particularly to this President this,

“Mr. President, that’s enough. Mr. President STFU.”

The strategy appears to be ok, we gonna loose the next election big time, and next election might be closer then we percieved, can’t trust MQM and ANP not to cut deal with PML -N and call fior mid-term. If Elections happens we will loose big and can never make it back under Zardari to form another govt. Solution make sure it appears that we were once again victim of establishment and since hum to doobey hain sanam tumko bhi lay doobaingain. This allows PPP to think and dream of a chance of making back under the leadership of zardari. That startegy will harm Pakistan is not the problem of current PPP. Really shameful.

Forever MAZLOOM, SHAHEED, AWAMI, CORRUPT and DEVIOUS.

WAIT TILL YOU GET THE NEXT MAZLOOM “Billawal Bhoot Zordari”. There will be morons lining up to be his minions.

  • afzaalkhan says:

I guess I was right when I wrote my 1st comment. Here comes kaira. I say well Mr. Minister why dun u do the accountability since u r the government u moron :p

Generals, judiciary should also be held accountable: Kaira

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira Sunday said if politicians are to be held accountable, then generals and judiciary should also be put through this process.

He expressed the above views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Hafizabad Press Club.

“If politicians have been held accountable throughout since 1970, then why not the same be chosen for judiciary since 2007,” the Information Minister questioned.

      @nota

Do u really think NS is stupid enuff to go after judiciary and Generals? I mean dare i hope that he does that? Will my wildest dream come true. LOL

Seriously if thats the agenda I will back generals and judiciary I was think zardari & Co out that would be one down and one to go but we can get rid both of them in shot wow. If they (and that is big if) do they kick out and there still sympathy for them to make even simple majority govt anywhere in Pak then sadly pakistanis will deserve everything they get. My hope is we get rid of these morons where they find out oops Pakistanis dun give a damn abt them and have some form of elected govt, hopefully IK since he is the last one thats not been tested and if he fails then wait for revolution.

      • taukeer says:

I think NS’s political instinct will tell him to keep his head below the parapet. His idea of cultivating Gillani seems to have backfired. He is just firing off “MAIN BHE TO HUN” statements!

I think the Anti-PPP / Zardari feeling has become so strong that it is not possible for NS to be Tarzan! (Main rastey main Aoon Ga). Not anymore! Mirza Sindhu Desh might have nailed Zardari / Bhoot Parret etc at least for the next election cycle.

      • taukeer says:

“I will back generals and judiciary” Like you did after the last SC judgement! (A judgement that had already been delivered / pre-endorsed by the “sovereign” Parliament)

        • taukeer says:

“Jiyalaism” u know!!! (They just love all the Piyaz!!!!!)

          • afzaalkhan says:

so am now a jiyala :p lolz, I guess anything that dun fit ur views must be wrong. Have it ever occurred to u that someone might have a difference of opinion. Since u refuse to entertain this thought and still missing the point abt NRO decision no point talking abt it. Once u grab the point may be we can have a meaninful discussion :p

Oh BTW ur e-mail account has been hacked or being used as spam agent keep sending me e-mails and msn mssgs to buy this or that or visit this site. I will see if i can find a solution to get rid of that meanwhile u might want to report it to hotmail.com they prob will ahve a solution. cheers.

            • taukeer says:

RE; e-mail account. I know there has been some major security breech in Hotmail email accounts in the UK. I have not used the account for nearly a year. I am sorry about the inconvenience. Believe me I have not turned a sales man!!!!

Re diff. of opinion! I agree one of us misses the point about the NRO judgement! I let you have a guess at which one of us?

  • afzaalkhan says:

    @nota

two different thing, NS did have thier own candidate for presidency against zardari and they did participate in the elections. NS startegy ahs been simple, a stateman, look am a stateman, look i will put country and democracy 1st even if am called freindly oppo. He just didn’t want to show its 1990′s alll over while hammering the point home through minions how corrupt and incompetent the PPP govt is. Thats good politics and that helped his standing. Now that PPP has decided on head on collision, will NS join forces? I mean am all 4 accountability and stuff but a head on collision with army and judiciary is not gonna happen, furthermore would be hard pressed to find corruption or wrongdoing cases against the current generals and judiciary, which leaves the old generalss ssitting like mirza aslam baig etc, to go after them would be opening a pnadora box barey barey pardanasheenoon ke naam even the partry members will revolt. So no I dun think they gonna go after the generals or judiciary, I still think its just noise to cover up their govt exit and blame it on army and judiciary so they can play mazloomiyat card, thats why NS has to be stupid to join forces with them

  • afzaalkhan says:

    @nota

I think u will find this supporting my conclusion abt NS.

ARY: Nawaz says support democracy, but not corruption

“The government should respect the people’s mandate. We want the democracy be sustain in the country but we can not support the corruption,” Sharif told a press briefing after chairing PML-N’s provincial organizing committee meeting held here Monday.

    • afzaalkhan says:

and ur surprised why? A politician crave power mate nothing wrong with it. If u look from just politica point of view, gotta give it to ganja sala buhat rami hai lol

    • afzaalkhan says:

nah man, its word play, president should decide himself if he wana resign but all NRO minister should resign(read: Zardari biggest NRO) etc lines are just to show they above the fray while simultaneously reminding awwam who is corrupt and what should be done.

  • afzaalkhan says:

    The News:‘17th Amendment must go’

PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that the prime minister may repeal the 17th Amendment and keep the ban on third-time premiership intact.

He put forward this offer while addressing a high-level PML-N conference in Lahore on Sunday. He urged the PPP-led government that the sooner this amendment was undone, the sooner democracy would become strong and stable. In order to protect democracy from threats, he said, the amendment should be removed from the Constitution.

Dilating upon his offer, Nawaz said some people believed that he was stressing the repeal of the 17th Amendment so that the restriction on the third-time premiership might come to an end. He said that he wanted to remove the scepticism of such people.

Nawaz further said that it was being harped upon that democracy was under threat and the Army was also being seen with doubts, which, he said, was totally incorrect. He said the Army was absolutely away from politics. The Army is waging a war for the integrity and solidarity of the country and rendering sacrifices in this regard, he said, adding the Army was busy in saving the country from major threats. He said the real threat to democracy came from the inaction of the government, which had failed to undo the laws made by the dictator.

    • taukeer says:

BTW I agree with your assessment about PML-N’s stance. They are playing a very calculated game. I have to admit NS has learnt alot in his isolation in Jeddah thanks to Mushy!

The problem is that they forget all the good things once in power.

  • afzaalkhan says:

Ganja finally started to visit out of raiwand. More signs of trouble for zardari.

ARY: Govt files petition for review on NRO verdict

Federal government has filed petition in Supreme Court pleading for review of the apex court judgment on National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

Advocate on Record Raja Abdul Ghafoor filed the government review petition in the court.

The plea argued that the NRO verdict also covered such points which were not raised in the pleas of the petitioners.

The federation plea said that the government was agreed with the stance of the petitioners that NRO was a discriminatory law and not opposed these petitions. But during the hearing those points were also debated which were not part of these petitions.

The government could not present its stand on those points, so the government should be given opportunity of hearing on those points and the verdict on NRO should be reviewed, the petition further said.
