NADRA issues CNIC to more than 25,000 foreigners

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA)has issued more than 25,000 CNIC cards to foreigners in Balochistan, Aaj News reported on Wednesday.

According to the channel, it has revealed that Abdul Malik Rigi, leader of the Jundullah is among the 25,000 foreigners to whom NADRA Balochistan had issued Pakistani national identity card.

The name written on Pakistani CNIC of Rigi is Saeed Ahmed s/o Ghulam Haider, the channel reported and added.

Meanwhile, FIA has arrested 12 foreigners in a raid at NADRA office in Balochistan. These foreigners had come to collect their CNIC.

During initial interrogation, the arrested foreigners have revealed that they had entered in Pakistan on February 24 to collect their cards, adding that different agents get issued Pakistani cards to Afghans and other foreigners against Rs5000 to Rs30,000.

Officials have recovered local certificates, domicile and NADRA slips from the detainees.
