To be honest, both appear extremist, intolerant, lacking respect for others’ views, enemies of reason, adamant and dangerously lacking a balanced understanding of historical facts. Both happily distort the facts and quote the things that support their viewpoint. These are the worst intellectuals we can ask for. May Allah protect Pakistan from extremism of both types.
For two nation theory, or whatever you call it, The Prophet(PBUH) made this concept very clear when he left Meccah thus cutting all blood, tribal and cultural ties and setting up a totally new concept of muslim brotherhood in Medina. Do Qureish of Meccah look any different to muslims of Medina or do they have some differences in culture?( Yes you can think of hindoes of India and muslims of pakistan) May be culture or race is not what makes muslim nation. You may not know it but new muslims or converts know it better than many of us who were born to a muslim family.
The best thing we can do to our country and South East Asia is to learn how to live with our differences. Probably, that is the only way that does not lead to anarchy.
